Lead II/Diagnostic Mode
Here we have a Superventricular Tachycardia.
This was a 55 YO male with CHF/Asthma. BP - 230/140. Severe Respiratory distress, combative. Initial O2 Sat was <70%. Breath sounds were bibasilar rales with inpiratory and expiratory wheezes in all lobes. After NTG spray and Positive Pressure updraft treatment with Albuterol his O2 sat began to improve. He kept pulling out IVs before we could get them secured which made it impossible to give him Lasix or Adenosine. Fortunately it was a short transport time. BP at disposition was still 220/120. Admitted to ICU with CHF and Anterior MI.
